Please give a warm welcome to this week’s special guest: Victoria Arlen. She’s a US Paralympic gold medalist, motivational speaker, and sideline reporter for “American Ninja Warrior Junior” (whose new season just premiered on Peacock). And today she’s here to Skimm Her Life. So we’re tossing the mic over, starting now...

Smartest purchase I’ve made recently...The Nu Skin ageLOC LumiSpa. This thing is magical. Working in TV I have to wear a ton of makeup, and cleaning my face properly has always been my nemesis. This tool is a game changer — it’s like the ultimate power washer for your face with a nice little rejuvenating massage.

Best book I’ve read recently…“The Secret” by Rhonda Byrne. This book has been life-changing. It just is such a great reminder to be aware of your thoughts and to believe in the dreams and goals you set for yourself.

Self-care product I swear by...I love Beautycounter. I am meticulous about my skincare, and just last year when I was recovering from major surgery, in the midst of being so out of it and weak I was adamant about keeping [it] up. Also working out and meditating are things that I do for myself every day.

Go-to workout wear...I am a big fan of a good supportive sports bra, bright and fun leggings, and a ginormous water bottle. [One] of my favorite workout brands [is] Booty by Brabants. I also love Lululemon, Alo, and Beyond Yoga.

Fave pump-up song…“Tubthumping” by Chumbawamba. I blast this in my car or anywhere I’m alone before any big meeting, show or event. I dance and sing my heart out. It not only pumps me up but it calms my nerves because I figure I can’t possibly look or sound as ridiculous as I just did with the song.

Pssst: This interview has been edited for length and clarity.
