Meet Andrea. She’s a 5th grade teacher in North Carolina. When she said goodbye to her students on Friday, March 13th, she had no idea it would be the last time she’d see them this school year. With school closed, many of Andrea's students were left without necessities like internet, computers, and guaranteed meals. And they aren’t the only ones. Nearly 30 million children rely on free or reduced-price lunches in US public schools. About 14% don't have internet access. So districts and teachers across the country have organized to take food and school supplies directly to their students' front doors.
