Bound and Unbound by Ali Hazelwood
Caroline again. When Ali Hazelwood’s paranormal-romance audiobooks came out in print, I added to cart immediately. If you also struggle to follow narratives in audio form, you’ll appreciate this, too. Ideal for Halloween, Bound follows an antiquarian who’s kidnapped by a (hot) professor to forge an ancient manuscript; Unbound pairs a 5,000-year-old mortal-protecting revenant with a sweet, overworked (and also hot) ER doctor. I’d recommend buying a physical copy for the neat tête-bêche format, where both novellas are bound upside-down.
