Products you buy through our links may earn us a commission. Oh, and if something's out of stock, oops, it was there (and all prices were accurate) at time of publication.

We’ll admit it: One major perk of our job as editors is that we get to try out tons of products to let you know if they’re truly worth your hard-earned money. So in the nature of tossing gatekeeping to the curb, we’re sharing a few standout faves from the past month that we usually reserve for the group chat. Because they really are that good (and we’ll be super sad if they sell out and we can’t get them anymore). Without further ado…

A cream great for beginners to curly hair care...

It may sound crazy, but recently I figured out that my wavy hair is actually way more curly than I thought. I've been testing different creams to see how I can get it to curl in the best way possible (ringlets without frizz) and Amika Curl Defining Cream has been my go-to. It smells amazing without being too perfumey, and it truly helps get that ringlet shape. I find that if I layer the cream with other Amika basics (the leave-in conditioner and curl gel), my curls hold all day and won't get annoyingly frizzy over time. Another huge win: It doesn't make my hair feel greasy when I apply it. Some other creams feel so heavy, but this helps to make my hair feel light. –Alexandra Napoli ($28, Amazon)

An album we can't get enough of...

When I heard the song "Stick Season" for the first time, it tickled something in my brain. Now, I can't stop. I listen to it in the morning, at night, when I'm happy, when I'm sad. The album as a whole is just as good. Coincidentally, I've been driving a car that only has a CD player. There's something so nostalgic about buying a physical CD, popping it in the player, and listening to the album from start to finish. This was one I had to own, and let me tell you, it's still on repeat. –Martha Upton ($11.98, Amazon)

caudalie
Sephora

A skincare set with two of Caudalie's best products...

Majorly late to the Caudalie bandwagon here, but I recently tried this duo that contains minis of their Beauty Elixir facial spray and their Vinergetic C+ mask. Both have quickly become staples in my routine. The facial spray provides the perfect amount of extra moisture and glow to my skin, but I mainly love how relaxing it is as a self-care step. And the mask is viral for a reason I immediately had clearer skin without feeling dry or overstripped. Safe to say, I will be buying the full sizes when I run out. –Margo Ghertner ($25, Sephora)

nuxe-oil
Amazon

A coveted French oil you can get on Amazon...

I picked up the cult-famous Nuxe oil on a recent trip to Paris — and the (very chic) clerk at the drugstore confirmed that it’s a local favorite. I run this through the ends of my hair to tame frizz and give it a glossy finish; it also leaves a pretty sheen on my shoulders and collarbone. The best part is the scent: a warm, expensive-smelling blend of orange blossom, magnolia, and vanilla. –Caroline Goldstein ($25, Amazon)

oura-ring
Oura

The Oura Ring that would make a nice gift...

I've had the Oura Ring for almost a year now and I still love it. It recently became my best friend since I had COVID and it helped to track my temperature and symptoms, plus how much sleep I was getting. It reassured me that I would know if anything changed drastically. –Celia Skvaril ($299+, Oura)
