Say ‘hi’ to Michelle Cordeiro Grant, the CEO and founder of LIVELY. She’s here today to share her best career advice, bra shopping tips, and one of her go-to recipes to help with energy and focus. Tossing the mic over starting....now.

My go-to no-fail gift under $50...Golde’s Make Your Matcha Kit.

Smartest purchase I’ve made recently...The Belkin 3-in-1 charger is life-changing. Never having to worry about my AirPods or phone being charged surprisingly makes my days so much more efficient.

Product I keep adding to cart...Obsessed with the Love Wellness Bye, Bye, Bloat supplements. Truly effective and a must-have for those days of indulging.

Best book I’ve read recently…“Blue Ocean Strategy.” I recommend it to any entrepreneur, anyone who has a side hustle or is launching a new biz.

Self-care habit I can't live without...I absolutely swear by my daily elixir. It’s a riff off a few other recipes I created at the beginning of quarantine, and I’ve rarely gone a day without it since. It’s full of greens, is anti-inflammatory, and gives me all of the energy and focus, but without any of the crash of caffeine.

Ingredients:

  • 2 handfuls spinach

  • Medium banana

  • 1 tbsp of ginger

  • 1 tbsp of turmeric

  • 1 tbsp of Manuka honey

  • ½ cup of almond milk

  • Scoop of ice

Throw it all in your blender of choice [psst: Skimm HQ loves this one] and mix away.

Number one tip when bra shopping...Always try the bra on using the loosest hook so you can grow into it. As the band stretches with wear, you’ll be able to get more life out of it with extra room to tighten the hooks. Eighty percent of support comes from the band of the bra, so it’s the most important factor to consider when shopping. [Psst...check out more bra-shopping recs here.]

My favorite charity to give back to...I Support the Girls. They’re a fantastic organization that collects and distributes essential items, including bras, underwear, and menstrual hygiene products, and donates them to women experiencing homelessness, impoverishment, or distress, allowing them to stand tall with dignity.

Best piece of career advice I’ve ever received...Progress over perfection, always.
