The Story
Laura Zbikowski is taking Up With theSkimm to new heights.
What do you mean?
She’s a pilot in the NYPD’s aviation unit, and she took us along for a ride above Manhattan. She also showed us the rescue and survival gear she relies on when she’s called out on a mission.
Sounds like an intense job.
Laura stays calm under pressure. She told us her training helped prepare her for the high-stress moments of her job.
