You worked hard enough this week. Let us plan your weekend…
Calling all Hilderbabes: Are you still trying to fill the Nantucket-shaped void in your life? Peacock just dropped The Five Star Weekend, based on Elin Hilderbrand’s 2023 novel. The series stars Jennifer Garner as Hollis, a food blogger reeling from the sudden death of her husband. To cope, she invites four friends from different phases of her life (Chloë Sevigny, Regina Hall, Gemma Chan, and D’Arcy Carden) for a weekend of free-flowing white wine, sunshine, and artisanal charcuterie at her Nantucket home. But not everything goes to plan — old rivalries resurface, explosive secrets are revealed, and a high-school ex reappears in what’s been called “five-star summer escapism.” Peacock, you know us too well.
Black and brown sandals, rest easy. Fashion People are moving on to a shade that’s brighter and bolder — and goes with everything.
Is your spice jar storage a scary place? Turns out, the secret to keeping it organized starts with dollar-store picture frames. Yes, picture frames.
Our new afternoon go-to: this functional lemonade iced tea is packed with electrolytes to keep you hydrated all summer. Sip smooth, steady energy — without the caffeine spiral.*
Welcome back, Madonna. OK, fine, the Queen of Pop never really went away — but hear us out: She recently released Confessions II, the sequel to 2005’s Confessions on a Dance Floor, and critics everywhere agree it’s her best album in decades. Or, in the words of Rolling Stone, “it’s a 64-minute nonstop groove that flows like a club-DJ set.” Consider your weekend soundtrack sorted.

Happy (almost) weekend. My 11-year-old is at camp. And while I thought about doing my own version (read: three nights at an adult dance camp), I ditched those plans because (a) living in a dorm wasn’t speaking to my soul and (b) I’m loving being home all by myself. That said, here’s what I’ll be getting up to:
Making dangerously snackable “pasta chips.” It took me a few tries to land on the perfect spice combo, but the internet was 100% right: They’re crispy, savory, and the best thing you can make in an air fryer.
Preordering Salt Sisters by Lindsey Palmer. The novel — out Tuesday — has two sisters, a Cape Cod summer, and the kind of plot that’ll have me ignoring everyone at the pool.
Refilling my emotional support water bottle approximately 12 times a day. People made fun of the size when I bought it, but it fits in all of my bags and it’s exactly enough water.
Buying this summery matching set. I already have it in black, and I wear it so often, the only rational thing is to get it in white too. Add sandals, and it looks like you tried way harder than you did.
The one reason to leave the house: a boxing class. Especially now that I bought my own pair of gloves after renting them for years. Who knew they could be so pretty?
