Happy (almost) weekend. I’ve been thinking a lot about Off Campus — and not because I’m suddenly into hockey. So in between reading the rest of Elle Kennedy’s wildly popular book series, here are a few other things I’ll try to fit in this weekend:
Making Baked by Melissa’s Chopped Salad, which is meal-prep friendly and ideally eaten with chips or in a sandwich. Consider it proof of my mom’s motto: “The more you put in, the more you find.”
Buying the perfect light windbreaker. I’m traveling to Canada’s Prince Edward Island in July for a wedding, and I know I’ll want an extra layer while exploring the coast.
Getting deeper into Love on the Spectrum — which is probably better than bingeing Off Campus again. My boyfriend proposed we watch this together and I…cry. It was an unexpectedly sweet suggestion, since he’s more of a sci-fi guy.
Finishing Half His Age by Jennette McCurdy. I recently read her memoir, I’m Glad My Mom Died, and I was curious about her fiction debut. So far, my review is: sharp and highly enjoyable.
Attending a self-defense class organized by a friend. I’m very excited — mostly because hitting something is excellent therapy. But also, we’re going to a boozy brunch after, so you really can have the best of both worlds.
