EDITOR’S NOTE
Happy Sunday. Even I, a cheesy holiday movie apologist (I can’t be the only person planning to stream Christmas at the Catnip Café this weekend), take deep offense to what’s been deemed one of this winter’s fashion muses. In protest, I’m sharing a few things that are inspiring me right now, like…
My all-time fashion icon, Jennifer Lawrence, pioneering a style described as “Uptown Mom Meets Sk8ter Boi” and somehow making it look undeniably cool.
A pair of snow boots that are actually cute, easy to put on, and capable of keeping your feet dry? Consider my duck boot days a thing of the past.
This dreamy mountain getaway — which is so whimsical and cozy, you almost can’t believe it belongs to someone from the Kardashian family.
An exceptionally homey Anthropologie candle collab that speaks to both my inner grandmother and my actual one.

🦋 It’s official: The Butterfly Cut will be everywhere in 2026 — and it actually works on everyone.
👑 Not to be dramatic, but nothing can prepare you for who TikTok considers the top royal fashion icon. We have a feeling he (yes, he) is as confused as us.
🧥 If you’re over all the suede this season, we get it. So allow us to suggest this underrated alternative that’s just as chic and not in everyone else’s closet...yet.
💰 The latest beauty trend? “Resting Rich Face,” which is, blessedly, more approachable and affordable than it sounds.
😎 Apologies to your classic brown corduroys, but this fresh, unexpected shade screams “I winter in Aspen.” So, yeah, we’re stocking up.

Congratulations are in order for Timothée Chalamet. Not because Marty Supreme — in which he plays a Ping-Pong champ — has already earned rave reviews. But because he’s done the unthinkable: Nabbed the award for Most Method Press Tour Behavior from, well, himself. Remember last year’s promo of A Complete Unknown? The blonde hair. The DIY Bob Dylan music video. The quirky entrance to the film’s London premiere. But Timmy’s been perfecting his off-screen character study for years. Case in point: His futuristic Barbie and Ken moment with Zendaya for Dune: Part Two and his chocolate-bar cosplay for Wonka. Yet none of that compares to his latest press marathon, for a movie that’s *checks notes* somehow still not out yet.
It all started with that freaky indie film (sorry, promo clip), where the big takeaway was that Chalamet had traded his signature curls for a questionable buzz cut. That was followed by the oddly convincing “leaked” marketing Zoom, where a hyped-up Timmy pitched ideas like having a Marty orange blimp fly over LA (which actually happened, with one major change). That’s just a fraction of what’s occurred on this unhinged press circuit. He turned a piece of merch into “the defining garment of 2025” (proof: his mom’s text). He brought back those Soulja Boy moves — which, dare we say, got even better. He made a compelling case for an Hermès murse (how something so tiny costs so much, we’ll never know). He bravely admitted he’s never seen this sacred millennial text. He even went on a WWE podcast (yes, those exist). And, of course, he and Kylie Jenner wore the most iconic couple’s outfit in recent history to the LA premiere (we can’t unsee these comparisons). Now, with just under two weeks until the movie’s nationwide release, we can’t help but wonder what’s still to come. A match against Forrest Gump? Confirmation that he’s moonlighting as this rapper? TBD, but according to Chalamet, we’re in for what’s “probably my best performance” yet.

The Los Angeles Lakers played the San Antonio Spurs this week, but who cares? Blue Ivy Carter was courtside in wedge sneakers that looked suspiciously like a pair her mom famously wore. Of course, if we lived with Beyoncé, we’d probably spend most of our time raiding her racks of designer everything, too. Here’s what we think Blue should borrow from mom’s closet next: this very bejeweled Destiny’s Child throwback (one rule: bandana and heeled flip-flops must be included); her Greatest Met Gala Look of All Time (perhaps for this year’s event?); this all-leather ensemble from the 2000 VMAs; and this quietly chic black-and-white jumpsuit Bey once wore to the Grammys (real ones will know). Like she’d even notice, right?

Shout-out to Jimmy Fallon for granting Lily Collins the ultimate millennial wish: a surprise meeting with her favorite Spice Girl. Lily, we would’ve also forgotten how words work.

Rarely is a franchise’s third installment its best ever. But Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery may be the exception. In the threequel, Daniel Craig is back on the case as Southern sleuth Benoit Blanc, who’s called to a sleepy upstate New York town after a cultish religious leader (Josh Brolin) is murdered during Good Friday services. The prime suspect? Father Jud Duplenticy (Josh O’Connor), a young priest new to town with a checkered past. But as Blanc and the local police chief (Mila Kunis) investigate, it’s the devoted churchgoers — including Andrew Scott as a washed-up sci-fi writer and Kerry Washington as an uptight lawyer — who provide the kind of twists, turns, and comedic timing that has at least one reviewer calling this “the sharpest Knives Out movie yet.”
