I’m about to embark on what my mom calls “home games” versus “away games,” aka the back-to-back holiday travel of heading to my parents and in-laws. With being gone for nearly two weeks, I make sure to pack things that help me keep my regular routine, including:
A TSA-friendly version of the cleanser I use on my face and body (it also works well as a shaving gel on the go).
These hydrating eye patches for a quick moment of me-time. These are a recent discovery, and they’re quickly becoming my new favorite eye mask.

It reminds us of Spanx’s AirEssentials sets at less than half the price.
Margo here. One of my mom’s most complimented outfits? Her Spanx AirEssentials sweat set. Not only is the material butter-y soft, but it also looks put-together and stylish. If you don’t want to spend $128 a piece, allow me to point you to this recent discovery. Old Navy’s Bounce Fleece line is eerily similar — with countless elevated cuts and matching sets all in a sleek, yet fleece-like material that reminds me of Spanx. You’ll find that a lot of the items are around $50 a piece (with some on sale), which means you can buy a set for less than half the price of a Spanx one.
