EDITOR'S NOTE
I always see the week after Memorial Day as the start of summer, and I’m ready for it. I spent this weekend hiding from the rain with my current beachy read (we have our extensive list coming soon) and pulling together all my essentials for staying comfortable and cool. Here are the five products I can’t go without in the summer months:
Archies. They’re a basic rubber flip-flop with substantial arch support, making them extra comfortable.
Kosas Chemistry Deodorant. We gave this one a Good for You Award this year. I love this deodorant because it goes on clear and doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin.
Flamingo’s Pubic Razor. This is the best razor of all time, hands down. I use it under my arms, on my legs, and along my bikini line. It gives me a smooth, close shave every time.
Abercrombie Swimwear. In my opinion, nothing beats it. I have styles still going strong after five years of wear.
Shark’s ChillPill. This 3-in-1 device is a mini fan, cooling plate, and mister. If you’re prone to overheating, keep this in your bag at all times. Read my full review.

For anyone planning upcoming beach trips, we’re here to put this $34 collapsible beach tent on your radar. It’s cheaper than the daily rate of most chair rentals, so you’ll be saving a ton in the long run. It has room for up to three people, sleekly folds down, and doesn’t weigh more than four pounds. It even has three mesh windows and extended floor curtains for added breathability. And while it has a UPF 50+ coating, don’t forget sunscreen.
Today’s Must-Haves
Here are three of the hottest products on the internet this week:
Lawn Game Set: It’s glow-in-the-dark and was last week’s bestseller. Perfect for late nights spent outside.
Free Assembly Smocked Mini Dress: Run, don’t walk. There’s a new Walmart dress on the block that’s reminding us of Hill House.
BBQ Daddy: Scrub Daddy’s extra-safe grill brush that’s water-activated and bristle-free.
Just Wear This
Summer clothing we don’t feel overstimulated in
We can throw these pieces on and head outside on a hot summer day without immediately wanting to take them off:
The best linen trousers we’ve ever tested. They’re breezy and handle sweat well.
For one editor, this slim, cropped tank with a built-in sports bra is a summer staple. While it’s an investment, it’s perfect for when you can’t be bothered, need to leave the house, and want to stay cool. The material is soft, stretchy, and absorbs sweat easily.
A boxy cotton tee that’s airy, loose, and lightweight. It’s the only thing our editor wants to wear when the temperature hits 85 degrees.
Old Navy’s Tennis Dress. We’re #1 fans of the brand’s activewear, so wear this dress on the sweatiest of days.
