EDITOR'S NOTE
I was recently reminded of the fact that I am no longer in my 20s. There are a lot of ways I could be reminded of that fact, but this time, the call was coming from inside the house — I pulled my back while I was working out. This prompted me to take a long, hard look at what could be contributing to my aches and pains. These are the things I’ve invested in to help me slow down, take a rest day, and let my body act its age:
A fresh pair of ultra-cushioned sneakers.
The release tool my PT recommended for neck pain.
A mini massager that actually makes a difference.
A magnesium supplement that helps with muscle recovery.

Reads
Margo and Caroline, here. After a much-needed catch-up (while accidentally wearing the same T-shirt, no less), we realized that there are so many good books we’ve read lately that we haven’t told you about:
The story of a couple told from the perspective of everyone but said couple (like the pharmacist, a woman sitting next to them on a date, etc.).
A frothy women’s fiction novel from the author of Something Borrowed, this time about a fertility doctor called back to her Wisconsin hometown after a sudden tragedy.
Lisa Kleypas’ forthcoming Victorian-era romance, centering on a female economist who plans to open Britain’s first women-only bank. Preorder it now, and read her beloved Ravenels series to tide you over.
A campy, gory feminist horror novel about a female serial killer…who works as a Disneyland princess by day.
