There’s a certain comfort in having those go-to jewelry pieces you know will never let you down. But when it’s time to switch those up (afterall, winter is coming…), it’s hard to know where to start. Enter: Laure by Aurate. We asked three HQ’rs to test out a few items from the collection to see if they’re comfy, versatile, and actually live up to the hype. Spoiler alert: They do.
What we tested…
18” Curb and Paperclip Chain Necklace ($300). A layer-friendly chain that has the best of both worlds.
Thin Huggie Hoop Earrings ($100). 12mm understated hoops that work whether you’re dressing up or down.
Pearl Bracelet with Vermeil Closure ($150). A standout piece with a minimum of 33 round, cultured freshwater pearls.
Straight A’s in…
Versatility. We styled our pieces with everything from a workout set to a going-out look (jeans and a cute top, anyone?). Each one worked seamlessly either on its own or with our other staple jewelry. The earrings, necklace, and bracelet are alllll team players.
Durability. No matter how many dishes we washed or dance floors we dominated, each piece stayed tarnish- and scratch-free. Not to mention clasped the entire time. These must-haves are here for a good time and a long time.
Comfort. Each piece is so lightweight, but especially the huggie earrings. My coworker and I actually forgot we were wearing them at one point.
Works best for...
Anyone on the hunt for new staple jewelry.
Anyone shopping for gold pieces without a gold price tag. All three items’ gold material is created with vermeil. Aka a thick, 2.5-micron layer of gold over sterling silver for a long-lasting, wallet-friendly wear. (PS: The collection also features a few 14K gold accessories.)
