Decades after the original “Star Search” wrapped, a new version debuts tonight at 9pm ET on Netflix. Hosted by Anthony Anderson, with judges Sarah Michelle Gellar, Jelly Roll, and Chrissy Teigen, this version will feature not just singing, but dancers, comedians and (of course) kids’ acts. Episodes air on Tuesdays and Wednesdays — and fans can vote live.

Why it matters: A ruling in the President’s favor could give future presidents broader power to fire Fed governors, potentially paving the way for interest rate decisions to be shaped by politics.
