She is the Director of Content Development for Sports and Entertainment, so oftentimes she’s in rooms with some of your favorite celebrities and brands. Those rooms always get a little bit brighter when she knows she is making connections with people who can help inform and delight theSkimm’s readers and viewers.

She has been in the celebrity and entertainment space for the last decade — her work spans theatre, film, television, and media. She started off her career as a celebrity assistant to a certain charismatic character actress. Once she learned the ropes, she fell in love with the business and cultural reflection present in all celebrity-driven entertainment. She is Emmy nominated for her work on the 93rd Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, where she booked and produced celebrity talent performances.

In her time at theSkimm, Kat has worked to curate the perfect talent for all the biggest cultural moments of the last 5 years. She has booked talent ranging from Mindy Kaling to Governor Whitmer to your favorite WNBA players. She spends a lot of time thinking about the movers and shakers we all need to know and does not shy away from advocating for lesser-known talent who she thinks will burst onto the main stage.

She has her BFA from Emerson College and splits her time between New York City and Los Angeles.
