A solid chef’s knife…
Not only does a high-quality knife make cooking smoother and easier, it also helps prevent slips and, therefore, accidents. This one combines traditional Japanese craftsmanship with German blade-hardening technology to create a high-quality tool that will last him years. The floral acid-wash pattern is beautiful to look at, too.
A bath mat that matches every style…
I love a classic bath mat but I hate having to throw it in the washing machine to clean. This instant-drying bath mat is actually made of upcycled, natural materials designed to look like stone. It can absorb up to 150% of its weight in moisture, so it’s actually more hygienic than a fabric bath mat. It gives quiet, practical luxury and makes my bathroom feel like a spa.
A digital camera he can take everywhere…
As a content creator myself, I am loving the resurgence of the pre-smartphone digital camera. While there are endless options to choose from, this PowerShot V1 Canon is the crème de la crème. The video quality in particular is unmatched and it’s super lightweight and portable.
A new pair of Ugg slippers…
Guys like to be comfortable, period. These backless Uggs will keep him comfy for hours, whether he wears them as house shoes or ventures out to walk the dog or grab the mail. You’ll want to get yourself a matching pair, as you should. These shoes are a classic.
A softshell carry-on to replace his old duffle bag…
The carry-on to end all carry-ons. This softside Away carry-on is lightweight, durable, and spacious. In other words, everything he’ll be looking for in a suitcase. It’s also water-repellent and has Away’s signature smooth 360-degree spinner wheels.
A pair of “nice” sweatpants…
Any pants that feel like pajamas but look nice enough to wear out of the house is a win in my book. These straight-leg Artizia sweats are wider and softer than anything I’ve ever found in the men’s department. I’d pair it with with a fitted white tee and a leather jacket, and boom: a trendy-casual date night outfit.
Breathable bed sheets for a bedroom upgrade…
Whether you’ll be sharing these with him or not, every guy could use a new set of sheets. I never want to feel like my sheets are slippery so I go for this organic jersey set from Quince. The material feels like a soft, worn-in T-shirt straight out of the package. They’re made of 100% organic cotton and come in sizes Twin to Cal King.
A versatile tote he can use for work or travel…
The best kind of tote is the kind that does the organizing for me. This 15-liter capacity bag has designated compartments for a laptop, water bottle, phone, passport or wallet (with RFID-blocking tech built-in), pens, and keys. It’s the gift of knowing where everything is.
A really, really good umbrella…
A solid umbrella is the gift of a stress-free rainy commute. This Davek umbrella has both automatic open and close buttons so he won’t have to wrestle with it in the rain. In addition to a wrist wrap, it has a clip that attaches to a bag or belt when not in use. It’s on the pricier side, but it’ll end up saving you money in the long run.
A blanket he’ll actually brag about…
Go ahead, buy the man a soft blanket. This one is well worth its price. There are three sizes and a wide range of colors and patterns to choose from. Unlike many fluffy blankets, this one has a four-way stretch which, yes, makes a huge difference.
A standout razor…
Like an umbrella, a solid razor is a great(ly underrated) gift. This Philips OneBlade 360 is the single best item I’ve ever purchased. I’ve had mine for over 10 years and the battery life is incredible. It’s a precise beard trimmer, edger, and shaving tool all in one. And it’s specifically designed to avoid cutting or scraping skin.
A roll-on scented oil that will make him feel his best…
Our shopping editors are Cyklar fans, so I took them up on their recommendation and added this unisex Naked Neroli perfume oil to my list. It’s musky and warm, with notes of bergamot, mandarin, amber, and sandalwood.
A cashmere henley he can dress up or down…
If you haven’t been put on to Quince’s Mongolian cashmere, let this be your sign. It’s three times as warm as wool but lightweight, so it won’t make him sweat. The henley design is laidback, but elegant. A great gift I’d honestly suggest getting in more than one color.
