Since the temps are beyond chilly (in some places), we’re eyeing the fireplace and packing our closet with all things cozy. From loungewear sets to fuzzy socks, we’re here to help find the toastiest, coziest pieces you can really lounge in (with lots of stretch too). Let’s just say if bundling up was an Olympic Sport, we’d be bringing home gold.

With adjustable shoulder straps and pockets, it’s the cozy lounge option you didn’t know you needed. It’s ideal to snooze in, but if you wanna keep it on during daylight hours (you’ll want to — trust us), just layer a long-sleeve shirt underneath. We have one and it is so convenient to throw on in the morning. It’s stretchy, so we can wear it for hours without feeling constricted. Plus the banana print? Too cute. ($140, MiliMili)
Zoom meetings, neighborhood walks, the movies, slumber parties...you name it. This cozy cotton-silk henley combines the best parts of shirts with the best parts of sweaters. Plus, it’s machine washable and thermoregulating (translation: It cools you down when you’re hot, and warms you up if you get chilly). We’re big fans of the extra long cuffs, tortoiseshell buttons, and undercover pocket. Oh, and the blue and green colors. Slip into it.* ($218, Lunya)
Instead of having to change right before bed, layer this shirt under something heavier during the day, and then slip under the covers when you’re ready. It’s incredibly soft to the touch, with a loose, drapey fit and an open scoop neck. It also happens to be biodegradable. Catch us chilling in this. ($27, Girlfriend Collective)
This hoodie speaks for itself. And if you’re couch surfing all weekend, you might as well pay homage to Mother Monster. Watch as we dive into (another) rewatch of “A Star Is Born.” ($39.99, Amazon)
We’re talking hotel-level luxury right in the comfort of your own home. Made from fleece with a sherpa-lined hood and sleeves, this robe won’t pill or shed. It’ll give you one final reason to not go out in the first place. ($99, L.L.Bean)
No shame if you wear this to your end-of-year review. Pssst...it runs slightly oversized, so if you want a more fitted feel, we suggest sizing down. ($59, Phenomenal)
It’s got a hood, two front pockets, and a waist tie so it won’t be baggy. Consider it an elevated adult version of a onesie. You can wear it as you work from home, and keep it on if you’ve got some afternoon errands to check off your to-do list. ($119.95, Eloquii)
Made from buttery-soft fabric, these pants are hand-dyed. They’re also tailored, so size up if you prefer a looser fit (uh, who doesn’t). All materials are sustainably sourced and produced by a family-run mill in the US. And a huge bonus...they’re pill-resistant. So no annoying little fabric balls lining the waistband. We have a pair and they’re a go-to. ($97, Softwear)
Made from pre-shrunk cotton, this shirt is the closet staple for any season. What we love most is how it’s made: Freedom Company ethically sources materials and produces everything using slave-free labor in the US. Factories are regularly visited and fair living wages are implemented to make sure every step of the process is held to the highest standard. Every few months, Free Company pairs with a non-profit organization to give back. PS: We’ve worn this shirt and it’s very soft. We even ran it through the wash a few times and it hasn’t pilled, stretched, or gotten scratchy. ($35, Freedom Company)
Real pants? We don’t know her. You can workout in this pair and then go straight into chilling. The best part is the built-in leg-warmer effect. Aka the bottoms are long so you can scrunch them up for warmth. We’ve tried a pair and find them to be very cozy for the winter months. ($108, Alo)
Maybe it’s just us, but having icy feet during the day is just too darn uncomfortable. These come in a ton of different colors and patterns, and in a set of three or six, so you’ll be able to rotate them throughout the week. And since you’ll always have a pair to slip into, you won’t have to deal with cold floors. Phew. ($10.99+/3 pack, Amazon)
At times, even leggings can feel repetitive. Why not change it up with a fluffy sweater for your legs? These dreamy sleep joggers are nothing but cozy and their Tencel material is warm, yet breathable. Whether you’re taking a midday snooze or running a quick errand or two, these ribbed joggers keep you warm while feeling put together. ($64.99, Athleta)
Care to curl up? Us too. Pop on this modal wrap and binge your favorite show. Its long sleeves and snug cuffs will keep your arms nice and warm while you do some serious channel surfing. Because it's cut on the longer side, this cardi is perfect with your ol’ faithful leggings or fave pair of sweats. Best to have options. ($69.95, Gap)

Buying gloves *before* your fingers actually freeze off? We love that for you.
Spoiler: You don’t have to give up leggings just because you’re no longer taking AM meetings from your couch.
