Skimm 2020 #WeCanDecide

August 17, 2020

When so much feels out of our control, voting shouldn’t be. Your vote is your voice — it’s the best way to have control over your future and to have a say in shaping this country. 100 years ago, no woman was legally allowed to vote in the US. And because of discriminatory rules and laws, not all women (and not all people) were granted the right to vote at the same time.

This year, if every millennial woman voted, we could decide the election.

Let that sink in.

If every millennial woman voted, we could decide the election.

Millennials just surpassed Baby Boomers as the nation’s largest living adult generation. And the 2016 presidential election was decided by just about 80,000 votes.

We have power. We have influence. And we have lots of reasons to make our voices  heard this year.

Register. And then make sure your friends are registered. Get informed. And then make sure your friends are informed. Vote. And then make sure your friends vote.
