Skimm Her Life is a series in our weekly newsletter, Skimm Your Life, where smart women share their favorite products.

LOLs, incoming. We’ve got comedy queen Whitney Cummings in the house in honor of her new stand-up special, “Un-Apologize,” which premiered right here on theSkimm (yep, NBD). Take it away, Whit…

Smartest purchase I’ve made recently…

The Baby Foot moisturizing foot mask. It’s the most disgustingly satisfying part of my self-care routine. Gone are the days of regular pedicures now that I have this.

Best book I’ve read recently…

“Codependent No More” by Melody Beattie. I’ve talked a lot about codependency issues in my books and my podcasts — I’ve considered myself in codependency recovery in the past. This book was so illuminating for me in terms of breaking old, unhealthy patterns that no longer serve us and I could not recommend it enough.

Last podcast or TV series I binged…

I just finished “The Bear.” The show is basically just hot, tattooed men who are able to cook yelling at other men. I also love the “You’re Wrong About” podcast.

Favorite stand-up act of all time…

The “Comedy Central Roasts.” [Psst…check out Whitney's comedy special "Un-Apologize" right here on theSkimm.]

Some products I’m loving right now…

Beyond lots of sleep and reapplying products in upward motions only, I swear by grape-seed oil. I make my own skin oils at home but I love Lilah B. and Drunk Elephant products, too.
