November 30, 2022 (New York, NY) – theSkimm, a mission-driven digital media company, announced its first-ever interactive and in-person fashion show in partnership with two of New York City’s most iconic shopping destinations, Brookfield Place and Manhattan West, hosted by celebrity stylist Kelly Augustine to deck the runway this holiday season.
The interactive event, “So Much Cheer, So Little Time,” will take place on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 from 5:30pm - 6:30 pm ET at Brookfield Place and is free to attend. Together with Brookfield Place and Manhattan West, theSkimm will provide shoppers with fashionable and easy-to-find solutions to six of their most common shopping and fashion dilemmas during the most wonderful and hectic time of the year.
Celebrity stylist Kelly Augustine — whose work has been featured in Vogue, Vanity Fair, and The New York Times — has been appointed as the fashion show’s master of ceremonies. Alongside several models, Kelly will offer styling and shopping tips for scenarios like how to transition from office to holiday party, how to pack for winter traveling, styling one festive dress three different ways, and what to buy for the hardest-to-shop-for people in your life. The best part? All of the suggestions can be conveniently found within retail stores at Brookfield Place and Manhattan West, and fashion show attendees will be able to shop for all of the ideas they see come to life during the event.
Fashion show attendees will receive a comprehensive holiday guide, including product recommendations from retail partners Bottega Veneta, Citizens Culinary Market, Gucci, J.Crew, Michael Kors, UNTUCKit, and more, and the first 250 guests will receive complimentary gift bags, including Bonobos and OPR $50 gift cards, Clean Market vitamin samples, Cos Bar makeup samples, Slip Skinny Silk Scrunchies, and more.
