Celebrating 60 Years of WeightWatchers: Words of Wisdom from a Mother-Daughter Duo

In honor of WeightWatchers’ 60th birthday, we tapped a dynamic mother-daughter duo to share how they’ve built healthy habits while still eating the foods they love with WeightWatchers. We even got the inside scoop on one of their favorite lunchtime recipes: rainbow poke bowls. Press play to check it out.

Rainbow Poke Bowl Recipe


  • ½ cup chopped purple cabbage

  • ½ cup shredded carrot

  • ½ cup red bell pepper, cut into thin strips

  • ½ cup cooked edamame, shelled

  • ½ chopped cucumber

  • ¼ cup fresh radish, quartered

  • 6 large fresh shrimp, cooked

  • 1 Tbsp light mayonnaise

  • 1 tsp Sriracha chili sauce

  • 2 tsp unseasoned rice vinegar

  • 1 tsp toasted sesame oil

  • ¼ tsp fresh ginger, peeled and finely chopped

  • ½ tsp sesame seeds

  • 1 Tbsp uncooked scallions, chopped

  • 6 crushed rice crackers


Step 1: In a large bowl or on a platter, arrange the cabbage, carrot, bell peppers, edamame, cucumber, radishes, and shrimp.

Step 2: In a small bowl, whisk the mayonnaise, sriracha, vinegar, oil, and ginger. Serve the dressing on the side or drizzle over the bowl.

Step 3: Garnish with the sesame seeds, scallion, and rice crackers.
